Bloomhaus Ventures backs LegalTech Ex Nunc Intelligence in oversubscribed pre-seed round

Bloomhaus Ventures announces its investment in Ex Nunc Intelligence, a Lausanne-based LegalTech startup redefining professional legal workflows with AI. The oversubscribed pre-seed round of USD 2.15M was led by Spicehaus Partners, with participation from Active Capital, Aperture Capital, Core Angels, and a group of angel investors.

Ex Nunc Intelligence is establishing a new category of legal intelligence focused on reliability, traceability, and professional secrecy - an approach that has already attracted several hundred lawyers, notary offices, and corporate legal departments to its Silex platform. The company’s ambition is to build the underlying AI-powered infrastructure for the next era of legal intelligence.

The funding will accelerate the development of Silex, including the rollout of specialized AI agents by area of law, the expansion of its verified legal knowledge infrastructure across European jurisdictions, and strengthening strategic partnerships.

Unlike generalist AI models, Silex is engineered strictly for professional use. Silex grounds every answer in explicit legal sources, clearly states uncertainty when the law does not allow a conclusion, and enables firms to securely combine public law with their own confidential internal knowledge through isolated data silos.

“Ex Nunc Intelligence is solving one of the hardest problems in legal tech: building AI that lawyers can truly trust.”, says Pascal Stürchler, Co-Founder and CEO of Bloomhaus Ventures.  “With a rare combination of legal domain expertise, top-tier AI engineering, and early traction, the team is well positioned to build core infrastructure for the future of legal work.”
